CBUS 170 - Future Me Business Edition P

Description:

The Future Me Business Edition is a comprehensive program designed to equip young individuals between the ages of 8 to 16 with essential soft skills and technical skills (Mobile application, Web designing, Arduino & Python) required for future success in the entrepreneurial landscape. This program aims to foster personal growth, enhance communication abilities, develop critical thinking skills, promote teamwork, and cultivate resilience and adaptability. Over the span of three weeks, participants will engage in interactive sessions aimed at developing their soft skills, complemented by technical skill-building activities

 

Program outcomes:

  1. Develop effective communication skills to engage and collaborate with stakeholders and business partners in various business scenarios
  2. Demonstrate the ability to adapt communication styles to different stakeholders, such as tailoring messages appropriately for diverse audiences, including customers of different demographics or investors with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  3. identify the art of persuasive communication by honing presentation and pitching skills. This may involve developing and delivering a business pitch to potential investors or participating in a mock negotiation, effectively articulating the value proposition and benefits of the proposed business venture.
  4. Demonstrate problem-solving and critical thinking abilities in challenging business scenarios, requiring effective communication and decision-making. 
  5. Foster effective teamwork skills by engaging in group projects and activities that require effective communication and collaboration with peers. This may include brainstorming sessions, project planning, and task delegation to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  6. Showcase project management skills by successfully organizing and executing a business pitch event, demonstrating the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver a compelling presentation of their business projects to an audience that includes potential investors, mentors, and business professionals.
  7. Demonstrate proficient mastery of Python programming language, understanding its fundamentals, syntax, and core concepts to develop software applications.
  8. Apply image processing techniques to analyze and manipulate digital images, demonstrating an understanding of various filtering, enhancement, and recognition algorithms.
  9. Demonstrate a deep comprehension of machine learning and deep learning algorithms and techniques, showcasing the ability to develop predictive models and classify data accurately.
  10. Design user interfaces for face recognition applications, showcasing proficiency in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that efficiently interact with the underlying face recognition algorithms and functionalities.
