BUSN 123 - Certified Marketing Researcher

Course Description: (Stand-Alone Course)
This course is designed to qualify marketing professionals to work in the marketing research field. Through the course duration (30 hours), participants will build on their prior knowledge of marketing research basics and learn how to use data processing, tabulation, analysis and visualization for marketing research purposes. As well, participants will receive hands-on practical training on how to manage marketing research projects. At the end of the program, participants are required to present their projects to a jury of experts.

Learning Outcomes:

1.    Illustrate marketing research cycle stages and components

2.    Write professional research brief

3.    Prepare efficient research proposal

4.    Create qualities and quantitative research instruments

5.    Plan and Manage marketing research projects

6.    Use SPSS for marketing research data analysis  

7.    Prepare marketing research final qualitative and quantitative reports

8.    Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing research projects

 

Admission Requirements for the above certificate(s):

Studying Marketing research course at AUC (SBSM104 or Equivalent) or passing Exemption by exam test

 

Term duration: 6 Weeks
Schedule: 2 Sessions/week - 2.5 Hrs/Session

 

Assessments and Attendance:
Learners are assessed throughout the term by case studies, quizzes, assignments, activities, discussions, reflection essays, projects, or other means of evaluation. End-of-term achievement tests measure learners’ overall performance in the course. The final grade in each course is based on learners’ performance on continual assessment measures and the final project or test. All assessments must be submitted as per the scheduled deadline announced in each course.
