This course teaches essential hair and makeup techniques. Students will gain a fundamental understanding of hair science. They will then receive training on practical application of several hair styles on themselves. They will continue the practical training with the stages of make-up application techniques. Students will conclude the course with a concentration on utilizing social media platforms to showcase their beauty styling work.

Stand Alone: A certificate will be issued upon attending the workshop.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

1.    Differentiate hair types, Causes of hair loss, and stages of hair growth

2.    Identify types and causes of dandruff

3.    Diagnose hair and scalp health

4.    Apply shampoo, conditioner, treatment and mask

5.    Utilize Blow-dryer without causing any harm to it

6.    Utilize curling iron to curl one’s hair

7.    Apply base for a long-lasting makeup, blend eyeshadows, and draw the symmetrical eyeliner.

8.    Apply foundation and how to highlight and contour face, brows, and lips.

9.    Apply popular make-up techniques: cut-crease, false lashes, smoky look and Bridal.

10. Foundations of relevant social media platform settings for personal branding and/or business
