CGU 159 - Supplier Relationship Mangmnt

Description:

Through a series of 20-hour hands-on workshop, supply chain, procurement and logistics professionals will get trained on how to deal with suppliers and how to establish a win-win relationship with them. During this course the participants will have a holistic introduction about procurement and how it intersects with other functions. As well they will learn the difference between internal and external suppliers and how to deal with each one of them. They will learn how to use pareto analysis and Kraljic model for classifying suppliers and how to support the value chain of the organizations through successful selection of suppliers.


Stand Alone: A certificate will be issued upon attending the workshop.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

1- Describe the procurement cycle and how it intersects with other functions.
2- List the differences between internal and external suppliers.
3- Use Pareto analysis and Krljic model for classifying suppliers.
4- Analyze the role of successful supplier relationship management in enhancing the organization’s value chain analysis .
