Course Description:
The idea of the program is to help learners have the right mindset, as it is key to successful
adults in the future. The concept is to allow them to envision the future in the 2030s to explore
opportunities that will allow them to achieve better possibilities in career and personal growth
at an early stage of their life. In collaboration with the STEM Club team, the program provides
trendy technological solutions by equipping participants with technical solutions using program
software and hardware as teaching tools to meet program goals and envision a system
designer’s job.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
1. List the skills needed for future jobs and the importance of human, technical skills
2. Practice tools to know more about themselves through self-awareness circles (Talents,
superpowers, weakness points, personal self-development areas. etc.)
3. Identify their emotions
4. Recognize their strengths and work on their weaknesses
5. Set a plan for continuous growth
6. Draw pictures of what the future jobs are like and what are their specific requirements
7. Define the concept of systems design and how it is used in everyday life
8. Identify how to use a platform to build and program systems that perform tasks.
9. Define how sensors and data collection work in a system
10. Practice teamwork and collaboration skills by working with other learners on systems design projects
11. Identify the design process, including brainstorming, prototyping, and testing
12. Recognize creativity and self-expression by creating their own systems design projects.
13. Practice problem-solving and critical thinking skills
14. List real-world applications of systems design, such as smart appliances and homes.
15. Develop teamwork and collaboration skills by working with other learners on projects
