Course Description:
The goal of this program is to implicitly introduce learners to basic concepts of mobile application programming. Through edutainment activities and applying the basic concepts on the games, learners identify and use basic tools while playing. Through engaging learners in a variety of communicative and edutainment, learners apply the learned concepts. Prerequisites: SPEC 306 Mobile Application Inventors (1) Learning Outcomes: By the end of this course, learners will be able to: Define basic concepts of computer science and coding 1. Use the mobile camera in application design. 2. Use the translator program in application design. 3. Apply the concepts by making games. 4. Use the clock component. 5. Use the concept of timer and stop watch. 6. Apply the concepts in making apps. 7. identify the function of orientation sensor. 8. identify the function of Accelerometer sensor. 9.
