SCDM 204 - Digital Marketing 2
This course is designed to help the learners explore technology for integrating social media marketing as an integral component of marketing campaigns. Participants will learn how social media marketing tools serve as an outreach tool for branding and creating brand awareness as well as promoting products and services. Learners will acquire the skills needed to leverage social media brand existence, exposure and engagement through developing integrated plan for social media campaign that achieves the business goals.

Prerequisite:
Successful completion Digital Marketing 1 (SCDM 203 ).

Learning Outcomes By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

1-Identify the components of social media marketing plan
2-Set the wining social media marketing strategy
3-Develop for content marketing strategy
4-Create content that builds successful customer engagement
5-Define the functionality of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media tools in generating business
6-Manage the paid and nonpaid social media Campaigns
7-Measure the conversation metrics for enhancing ROI
8-Analyze the progress of social media through its analytics
9-Develop social media marketing plan for a product or service

Term duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule: 1 Sessions/week - 5 Hrs/Session

Assessments and Attendance:
Learners are assessed throughout the term by tests, quizzes, assignments, projects or other means of evaluation. End-of-term achievement tests measure learners’ overall performance in the course. The final grade in each course is based on learners’ performance on continual assessment measures and the final test.

Final course grades are NOT based on attendance, since in accordance with SCE’s attendance policy, learners must attend at least 75% of the class sessions in order to be allowed to take the final examination.
