SAS 116 - HVAC Systems
This course covers the main concepts and principles of facility engineering concerns human comfort, namely Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC); components ,systems, design, and evaluation.

A stand-alone certificate : Operational Electro-Mechanical

Learning Outcomes :

1. Identify main requirements from HVAC system.
2. List main components of HVAC system.‎
3. Differentiate between natural air and forced air ventilation systems.
4. Compare between major AC installations techniques.
5. Evaluate the efficiency of exciting HVAC system

Admission Requirements for the above certificate(s) :

1. If offered in Arabic:

Learners must hold Thanawia Amma or equivalent or higher.

2. If offered in English:

-Learners must hold Thanawia Amma or equivalent or higher.
-Learners must obtain a minimum score of A2C proficiency level on SCE’s Standardized English Proficiency Test.
