SCDM 203 - Digital Marketing 1
The course provides practical guidelines for business professionals interested in exploring the opportunities digital marketing offers to manage and enhance the visibility of their products or services in today’s market space. The course helps the learners compete in the job market through acquiring the basic knowledge of digital marketing tools, componenets of digital marketing plan and startegies, managing seach engine optimization, using google tools to increase digital marketing exposure and effetivenness and finallydesigning winning email marketing campaign.

Prerequisite: Successful completion
1- Achievement Certificate in Sales and Marketing .
2-Marketing Research (SBSM104) & Strategic Marketing (SBSM 204)

Learning Outcomes By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

1. Identify the structure and componenets of digital marketing
2. Create a value proposition in the digital market arena
3. Set digital marketing winning strategy
4. Measure KPIs for a holistic digital marketing plan and performance
5. Set plans for enhancing SEO to increase brand awareness and visibility
6. Utilize google tools and analytics to Increase web visibility and traffic of a brand
7. Design email blast for promoting a product/service
8. Analyze the performance metrics of email marketing campaigns
9. Develop digital marketing plan for a product/service

Term duration: 6 Weeks
Schedule: 1 Sessions/week - 5 Hrs/Session

Assessments and Attendance:
Learners are assessed throughout the term by tests, quizzes, assignments, projects or other means of evaluation. End-of-term achievement tests measure learners’ overall performance in the course. The final grade in each course is based on learners’ performance on continual assessment measures and the final test.

Final course grades are NOT based on attendance, since in accordance with SCE’s attendance policy, learners must attend at least 75% of the class sessions in order to be allowed to take the final examination.
