SAS 118 - Hydraulics and Pneumatics Systems |
This course introduces the basic components and functions of hydraulic, pneumatic and steam systems. Topics include standard symbols, pumps, control valves, control assemblies, actuators.
A stand-alone certificate : Operational Electro-Mechanical Learning Outcomes : 1. Explain the operation of industrial fluid power and pneumatics systems, including the design, application, and trouble-shooting. 2. Apply the standard maintenance procedures of fluid power and pneumatic systems. 3. Demonstrate the needed analytical skills in handling basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. 4. Differentiate between hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. Admission Requirements for the above certificate(s) : 1. If offered in Arabic: Learners must hold Thanawia Amma or equivalent or higher. 2.
