SAS 111 - Steam Systems |
This course introduces the basic components and functions of Steam systems. Topics include standard symbols, boilers, control valves, control assemblies and actuators.
A stand-alone certificate : Operational Electro-Mechanical Learning Outcomes : 1-Describe steam properties based on steam tables. 2-Analyze steam circuit efficiency and reliability. 3-Differentiate between different types of boiler and describe the advantages of each. 4-Design steam circuit for basic elements. Admission Requirements for the above certificate(s) : 1. If offered in Arabic: Learners must hold Thanawia Amma or equivalent or higher. 2.
