CSCM 102 - Supply Chain Mgt Part 2
The course familiarizes the learners with the concept of logistics through the use of optimization models and simulation techniques. The following topics will be covered; TQM in supply chain, contract management, tender management, risk management, project management basics and advanced marketing channels management.

Prerequisite : Certificate of Achievement in Supply Chain Management .

Part of the : Foundation Certificate in Supply Chain Management

Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
1. Analyze the Total Quality Management components. 2. List the contract types and terms.
3. Design various contracts used.
4. Manage tenders and its logistics.
5. Analyze different risk types and how to manage them.
6. Identify the basics of project management.
7. Plan for the advanced marketing channels strategies.

Admission Requirements for the above certificate(s):
1. Applicants must pass the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT) with a score equivalent ENGG B1A
2. Applicants must have basic computer literacy.

Term duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule: 1 Session/week - 5 Hrs/Session

Term duration: 6 Weeks
Schedule: 2 Sessions/week - 5 Hrs/Session

Assessments and Attendance:
Learners are assessed throughout the term by tests, quizzes, assignments, projects or othermeans of evaluation. End-of-term achievement tests measure learners’ overall performancein the course. The final grade in each course is based on learners’ performance oncontinual assessment measures and the final test. Final course grades are NOT based on attendance, since in accordance with SCE’s attendance policy, learners must attend at least 75% of the class sessions in order to be allowed to take the final examination.
