IELT 501 - IELTS Preparation
This course builds on the specific skills and strategies for the IELTS test. This includes developing the listening, speaking, reading and writing skills using interactive and communicative methodology. The tasks for each skill area will be analyzed in depth, enabling the students to recognize the goals and skills required for various tasks. Learners will be given extensive practice on the Academic IELTS exam during the course. Students sitting for the general IELTS will also be exposed to a broader range of language and the specific tasks on the exam. Pre-requisite: IELTS 4.5 to 5.0 / ENGG B1A..

Admission Requirements
1.Applicants are required to pass the Standardized English Proficiency Test (SEPT) and score level ENGGB1A or passing ENGGA2D or IELTS score of 4-5 - 5.
2.Applicants are required to have basic computer literacy .
3.Applicants will be placed according to their test score .

Term duration: 6 Weeks
Schedule: 3 Sessions/week - 2.5 Hrs/Session

Assessments and Attendance:
Four continual assessments, one on each skill. A Final Mock Exam. Continual Assessment in this course provides feedback to learners on their progress. Final grades are not based on attendance in accordance with SCE’s attendance policy; learners MUST attend at least 75 percent of the class sessions in order to be allowed to.take the final test. p>
